Malaysia Bangladesh Flights Started by Best Air

Best Air starts Malaysia Bangladesh flights 5 times weekly

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) today received Best Air, a private airline from Bangladesh.

Best Air started operating five flights weekly, flying the Malaysia Bangladesh flights and vice versa route every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, utilizing MD83 type of aircraft with 162 seats configuration.

KLIA already has Biman Bangladesh Air, the national carrier of Bangladesh, operating seven flights weekly and GMG Airlines which operates seven flights weekly.

Dato' Seri Bashir Ahmad, Managing Director of Malaysia Airports said: "Malaysia Airports is delighted to welcome Best Air to KLIA...We hope they will further increase their Malaysia Bangladesh flights frequency to fly daily to KLIA soon."

With the inclusion of Best Air, 2008 has certainly been a productive year for KLIA as it has now attracted five airlines to start servicing Kuala Lumpur, namely Tiger Airways, Jetstar Asia, SilkAir, Air Niugini and Best Air.
